| Petersgate |
 |
With five other churches in the area we have set up
and support a professional counselling service called Petersgate.
27 fulltime and part time counsellors offer professional support especially to those
who cannot afford counselling at normal commercial rates. A wonderful
group of 28 volunteer-receptionists helps with administrative tasks. |
| "We respect and look after the needs of everyone regardless of
creed, culture or socio-economic background." |
| St Mark's Overseas
Mission Project |
| We are committed to helping the poor of the world.
Through our sister church in Vanuatu we are supporting a Rural Training
Centre at Ebule in Vanuatu. This
centre is attached to
Onesua
High School
where we support a
New Zealand
family, Roger and Paula Levy and their children. We have helped set up a
workshop in Port Vila that is training locals in joinery and running a
small business.
